Peluncuran dan Penandatangan MoU ULP Percontohan Fase II
Bupati Badung Nyoman Giri Prasta Teken MoU Pengembangan ULP & Pengembangan 44 ULP Percontohan dalam Modernisasi Pengadaan Fase 2, kali ini dalam hal modernisasi pengadaan barang dan jasa. Unit Layanan Pengadaan (ULP) Kabupaten Badung menjadi percontohan se-Indonesia. Acara dilaksanakan di ruang pertemuan Birawa Bidakara, 14 April 2016 di Jakarta. Bupati Badung Nyoman Giri Prasta menandatangani MoU dengan 44 ULP Percontohan terbaik se-Indonesia, dengan Lembaga Kebijakan Pengadaan Barang dan Jasa Pemerintah (LKPP).
ULP Kabupaten Badung dinilai baik dalam pengadaan barang dan jasa. Selain itu, Kabupaten Badung dinilai sebagai ULP yang akuntabel. Usai penandatanganan MoU, dilanjutkan dengan Lokakarya dan Pengembangan ULP. Penandatanganan dilakukan dihadapan Kepala LKPP Pusat Agus Prabowo, Kementrian PU, Kementrian Keuangan, Kementrian Kesehatan, Kepala, Duta Besar AS dan Lembaga Kemitraan dari Amerika Serikat MCC.
Lokakarya digelar atas kerjasama LKPP dengan Millenium Challenche Corporation (MCC) USA. Selanjutnya bertujuan meningkatkan profesi pengadaan secara akuntabel dan transparan. Selain itu, untuk membantu ULP Percontohan untuk menjadi pelopor serta memperbaiki praktek jasa pengadaan barang dan jasa pemerintah. Selanjutnya, untuk meningkatkan peran masyarakat, asosiasi pengusaha, dan media massa, sebagai bagian kontrol publik dalam pelaksanaan pengadaan barang dan jasa dilingkungan pemerintah.
Bupati Nyoman Giri Prasta dalam kegiatan tersebut, didampingi Sekretaris Daerah Kompyang R. Swandika, Asisten Pembangunan Dewa Gede Apramana dan Kepala Bagian Administrasi Pembangunan A.A Ngurah Bayu Kumara Putra sebagai Kepala ULP Kabupaten Badung.
Menurut Bupati Nyoman Giri Prasta ini mengandung arti bahwa Kabupaten Badung ikut diperhitungkan di tingkat nasional, karena kegiatan ULP dikerjakan dengan professional dan akuntabel. Biarlah ini menjadi awal dari kemajuan dan pengadaan barang jasa dilakukan secara akuntabel dan kredibel. “Marilah kita semua ikut mendukung kegiatan pengadaan barang dan jasa pemerintah menjadi lebih baik”, harapnya. Kepala ULP Kabupaten Badung A.A Ngurah Bayu Kumara Putra menambahkan, dengan penilaian positif ini, tentunya ULP Kabupaten Badung akan berusaha menjadi lebih baik,” ucapnya.
